Erik Alteryd, M.Sc. Eng. (born 1963), is appointed Senior Vice president, Ramirent Sweden and Managing Director of Ramirent AB. He will also be member of the Ramirent Group management Team. He will assume his new role latest in July 2013.
Ramirent AB is the second largest machinery rental company in Sweden with annual net sales of EUR 183 million in 2011 operating now 84 customer centres throughout the country.

Erik Alteryd has a long experience from working in the construction industry. He joins Ramirent from Veidekke where he most recently served as Managing Director for Veidekke Entreprenad and before this as Regional Manager Construction Stockholm between 2004-2009. Prior to joining Veidekke, he held various management positions at Skanska Group between 1989-2003.
Erik Alteryd succeeds Peter Dahlsten who has left the company on 9 October 2012 to pursue other interests. In connection with Erik Alteryd’s appointment Ramirent Sweden’s headquarters will move from Gothenburg to Stockholm where he will be based.
