Ramirent Poland wins scaffolding project in Slovenia
Alstom Power Systems GmbH, the main contractor of Sostanj Power Plant Unit 6, has chosen Ramirent Poland as the project’s main supplier of scaffolding services.
The largest power-generating investment in Slovenia includes the construction of a new block with a capacity of 600 MW. The modernization of the Termoelektrarna Sostanj Power Plant will last from March 2012 till November 2014.
Ramirent Poland will be the general supplier of scaffolding services and access solutions. Approximately 50% of the workforce will be recruited locally. During the peak stage of the scaffolding works, the project will employ about 100 workers. Based on past, similar projects, Ramirent has estimated the value of the contract for Ramirent throughout the project duration to amount to up to EUR 10 million.
