RAMIRENT PLC PRESS RELEASE 26 MARCH 2013

Vantaa, Finland, 2013-03-26 08:15 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

The Ramirent Group’s Sustainability Report 2012 covers main themes of sustainable business operations: the social, ecological and financial dimensions. The report includes many elements from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guideline for corporate sustainability reporting. Ramirent continues to develop its reporting procedures with the aim of progressing towards more extensive fulfilment of the GRI requirements. Previously, Ramirent has reported sustainability issues as part of the Annual report.

“Renting a machine is fundamentally sustainable compared to owning one. It is cost and eco-efficient because many users benefit from the machinery and equipment, by renting them according to their needs. Ramirent has put more focus on environment, safety and quality of the customised solutions provided to the customers. Our goal is to be a forerunner in the equipment rental industry what comes to sustainability”, says Magnus Rosén, CEO of Ramirent Group.
