Peter Dahlsten, who has led Ramirent Group’s Sweden segment, has decided to leave the company by mutual agreement as of 9 October 2012. The search for a successor has commenced. President and CEO Magnus Rosén will act as interim Managing Director of the Swedish subsidiary, Ramirent AB, until a successor is appointed.
Peter Dahlsten, a 26-year veteran in the construction and machine rental business, started in 1986 working for NCC Construction and since 2002 machinery division Altima that was later outsourced to Ramirent in 2004.
“Over the course of his career, Dahlsten worked various managerial roles at NCC and Altima and he was instrumental in the integration of Altima with Ramirent as its Chief Financial Officer before finally landing in the position of Senior Vice President of Ramirent Group’s Sweden- segment in 2009. I have respect for Peter’s contribution for the development of this industry and highly appreciate the value that Peter has delivered to our Swedish business. I wish him all the very best with his future endeavours”, says Ramirent’s President and CEO Magnus Rosén.
